![]() Nice list of certs, You do realise no one recognises SOC outside the USA and as the Safe Harbour well. I have never tried Keeper Security and I hadn't heard of them before today. I considered LastPass previously, but once they were purchased by LogMeIn, and the way they acted with their remote assistance change of pricing to subscription model with large increases in costs of use and removal of any free option, I fear that LastPass will end up in the same situation being monetized. The fact access is only granted if I allow it or do not respond, (the fact I have my phone on me or have access to my email most of the day or evening means I should be able to decline any requests, not in an emergency) within 3 days As I use this for personal use I have it is setup for my sister to have access in an emergency I hope this is never needed however I cannot predict what will happen to me tomorrow let alone in the future. I use Dashlane for personal use, it is ok and does sync well across my devices, I do not use their browser on my android, I do have the extension on Chrome which helps. Zero-knowledge encryption is a big part of that - and the SOC-2 Type II reports show that Keeper is in fact zero-knowledge. Our enterprise clients are looking for some level of convenience - so we provide that in a way where we aren't sacrificing security. The Keeper application as a whole will support Yubikey very soon. To clarify on Yubikey - Keeper Commander already supports it, which will cover supported plugins including Active Directory, Windows, Unix/Linux, Mac, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle. Why do companies go with cloud-based over something local like KeePass or Password Safe? How do they justify it? For business, it is almost impossible to sway toward cloud based, for personal it is very tempting. Most contentions are to simply use KeePass, store the database on a file server. Without that, there is almost a certain "no" coming from management when you mention "cloud-based". YubiKey is absolutely essential if solutions providers are to be taken seriously in an enterprise environment. ![]() I was just about to ask about offering YubiKey but re-read "coming soon".
